that happens to all my boards. bu ive never had any problems because of it though

because freebord hangars are so much wider than longboard hangars, there is a lot more rotational force around the kingpin/bushings
they also tend to stay leaning to the same side of the board that the pressure was last on. for example if you put your board on the floor and step heavily on one side the hangar will be bent to that side. this is why i find my hangars are always bent to my toeside, because all my weight is on that side while pushing.
unless you notice any difference while riding i wouldnt bother about it though

spot on. you can rotate your bushings and reset them so that they are not always stuck in the same place. once they are broken in more, they dont seem to stick as much either.

Yeah I really like this Progress Blog. You'll be amazed at your progression when you reflect on this in a few months. Keep it up, and stay stoked. When I first got mine I use to be outside in the dark under the street light praticing to slide out of my driveway lol It will come just keep at it.

I also second the advice of not sliding 90 degrees yet. Its very easy to find yourself going a little too fast for comfort and pulling that 90 slide too hard, and flat spotting.

Lastly YES definetly invest in some additional body protection. You will be safer, feel safer, which will increase your confidence and lead to less panic reaction when you're feeling sketched.

  • I've seen just Gravitis....and there are some difference just "eye comparing" with the Freebords.... :

    - the trucks of Gravitis are just too much thin compared to ours
    - same exact wheels speaking
    - even decks doesn't seems as reliable as the bord's ones

To tell the truth, this is just what i noticed just with an eye compare.....i haven't rided it so i cannot tell for sure if my feelings are reflecting the reality....this is just what i feel comparing 'em.

I currently have a freebord and I like it a lot but I havent been able to find other brands. Does anyone know a brand? Or if there are any other brands?
